Make time for Jesus

 Hey everyone,

I know we all either have work, study or other responsibilities, but it is important to study the word of God and pray. Get yourself a bible that is easy to read and take it seriously.  Get yourself highlighters and read the bible. 

Purchase a bible journaling book for note taking, get yourself a nice tea/ coffee and get started learning God's awesome word.

Get excited by the wisdom you are going to learn 

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)

Every part of scripture is powerful so don't neglect reading and studying and specially apply it to your life

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - Matthew 6:22 (NIV)

Everything will be given to you if you seek God first. 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NIV)

Remember to trust God's plan over your own for he is a kind and loving God, and he will make your path straight. 

So, my advice to you my brothers and sisters is read your bible, pray, rejoice in God's blessing, always thank God for your life regardless of the circumstances 

" Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; For this is God's will go you in Christ Jesus - Thessalonians 5: 16-18 (NIV)

Surrender to God

 Hey Everyone,

I want you to know that this blog is important and if you have visited earlier there were many blogs but know that if you have any requests feel free to ask and I will answer them according to the truth.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

This verse emphasizes trusting God fully and surrendering your own understanding in exchange for His guidance.

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 (NIV)

Surrendering to God involves submitting to His will and resisting temptation. Remember that the lord loves you and to submit to his will or do his will

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Surrendering to God means offering our lives as a living sacrifice, giving everything to Him in worship and obedience.

"Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.’" Matthew 16:24-25 (NIV)

This passage calls for complete surrender, letting go of self-interest to follow Christ.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 (NIV)

Surrendering to God involves dying to our old selves so that Christ can live through us.

The lord is worth surrender to. It is a privilege to surrender to God. Surrender and feel because the lord is worthy of our lives and our lives, and our death should honor the lord Now and forever.

Is Jesus God?

 Hey everyone,

I hope you are all having a good day, 

The question you have is Jesus God. I will be honest with you. Jesus Christ is the living God which means the Lord God of all creation is Jesus.

Let me tell you why. If you are an atheist or someone looking for a way. This is an important fact to consider.

Jesus was born from Nazareth from a virgin. It is prophecies that a coming messiah would save the Jews

Therefore the Lord himself will give you[a] a sign: The virgin[b] will conceive and give birth to a son, and[c] will call him Immanuel. [d] - Isaiah 7:14 (NIV)

Immanuel means God with us 

" The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."  - John 1:14 (NIV)

The word of God became flesh in Mary's womb, and she gave birth to a son of the most high God himself Jesus Christ the Messiah.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53: 5-11 (NIV)

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?…

The Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecy from the Psalm 22:1 and The whole psalms actually describes the crucifixion which shows fulfillment of Scripture.

Are you being deceived? Can it all be true !!

 Hey everyone,

I am happy that you are here, because we have an important discussion to talk about. But before I start i want you to have an open mind and leave everything that you have been taught because it is going to change things for you.

Have you ever thought because of all the terrible things in this world. That the Devil is real

The truth is he is real.

You might chuckle, some of you may take it seriously but you can't deny the fact that all this evil in this world is because of the enemy.

According to the bible

" The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.  - 1 John 3:8 (NIV)

The most important thing to note is what is sinful is from the enemy, so when you get deceived by the enemy repent. For the lord knows your weakness. The lord came and destroyed the devil's work and now we have eternal life through him.

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ -2 Corinthians 11:3 (NIV)

Remember your minds need to be sincere and purely devoted with your heart and soul. it is essential that we try to always be pure in the sight of the lord.

" For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms"              Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)

It is important to be consistent always praying, always reading your bible, following the teaching of the Lord and God Jesus Christ so you are not deceived. Pray always from your heart, mind and soul.

Are you struggling, Having trials and tribulation?

 

Hey everyone,

It is normal to go through challenges in this life. For instance, financially, spiritually, mentally and physically. You are not alone. In fact, it happens, and it is not to be ashamed of. We are all struggling but with God we can boast on our weakness.

I also want you to know that you are not alone.

When you face trials and tribulation it is a good thing because your faith is being tested. 

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33 (NLT)

You can always rely on the Lord Jesus Christ because he has overcome the world, defeated sin and is the only powerful and only God.

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us" Romans 8:18 

Remember that when you suffer in the present moment is not going to compare to the wonders that will be revealed to you so be strong my brother or sister.

When you face trials and tribulations also remember 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path.

Therefore you are not alone for God is with you. Do not fear for the lord is a just and kind God. He will not leave you. Live knowing that his peace and reassurance will get you through this.

How powerful is Love?

 

Love is the most important thing in this world.  We all love someone maybe family, a lover, a cute loving pet. Love is powerful and it is important, but have you wondered what God says about love 

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." -  Mark 12: 30- 31 (NIV)

I was talking earlier with one of my family members and I asked them the commandment of loving your Neighbour is not always easy. However, it is always nice to greet and be kind to your Neighbours because God wants us to love one another.

I encourage you like the way I encourage myself. Just try. Try very hard to love your Neighbours. 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16 (NIV)

This means that God is loving and that he loves us so much that he is willing to send his son who is pure and perfect to save us from eternity of suffering. 

So how do we know that we love God 

"If you love me, keep my commands." says the lord John 14:15 (NIV)

God deserves all our love and obedience for he is worthy of all praise. He is far greater than we can understand and what an honor we have to live for honor and his name.

But how do we know what love this verse is below shows us what we need to see in ourselves and check our lives and how we treat people.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. -1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)

So, this is our lesson for the day. Learn to love one another. We must please God by loving him with all our hearts, minds and soul. We must love our Neighbour for this pleases the lord.

What do you have to be thankful for ?

 

Hey everyone,

I am a starting new blog, and this is important that I let you know that Jesus Christ is Lord, and for all those you who are non- believers, this is a space for you to share. You are loved and you are not judged. You are important to God. And if you want to accept the lord it is easy 

Ask the lord " Dear Jesus, I accept you into my life as my lord and my Saviour come to my life and change me" Pray 

Our father in heaven, hallowed by your name, your kingdom come, you will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us day our daily bread and forgive our sin as we forgive those against us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil. From the kingdom the power the glory is yours now and forever. Amen!

Today I learned the importance of being thankful. Being thankful is important because we are blessed with food, water, a family, and even more importantly Favour from God.

Now if you are a non-believer, I challenge you to Pray to God to pray to Jesus Christ.

 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus"- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

This is something that I am learning to do, and it is important to always be thankful to God for he provides us with everything and always looks after us.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows" James 1:17 NIV

For everything that is good comes from God that is through the lord who is one with Jesus Christ. God in flesh who came to die and suffer for our sins. This means that we must rejoice for our God is good and we need to be thanking him always.

Look I will be honest with you this lesson goes for me to and I understand you when you forget, but we must understand that God loves us, and he wants the best for us. Therefore, isn't he worthy of all our praise.
